Policies and Procedures
Can we take money out if we need it?
If a parish entrusts the Armenian Church Endowment Fund (ACEF) to invest general funds or a building fund, those investments can be withdrawn at any time, upon 90-days notice. Once an individual has established an endowment with ACEF, money cannot be withdrawn from that fund. This policy is not exclusive to ACEF, but part of a binding legal agreement that applies to all endowments.
Please note that a parish can entrust ACEF to invest its own established endowments. In such cases, the parish is free to withdraw its investments and move them elsewhere, however, it cannot dissolve these established funds.
Can an individual or parish add money to an existing fund or does a new fund have to be created?
Money can be added to an existing endowment fund at any time.
